The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. However, discoloration may occur due to intensive use or exposure to sun or rain. To keep it in perfect condition, it is therefore recommended to avoid exposure to these elements.

The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. As a result, not all fibers are held in the same way, and during the first uses, it is perfectly normal for some fibers to come loose.

For cleaning, use a dry brush, without water or machine washing.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first left to "mature" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then beaten by hand to extract the fiber. The doormats are then painted and colored by hand, one by one, using different stencils. A traditional open-air sun-drying technique then fixes the paint to the surface of the doormat. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
