Designer Steve McGugan tells us about the ELBHARMONIE salt and pepper shakers: "Every time I travel from Copenhagen to Hamburg, the gateway to the world, I am fascinated by the developments at the Elbphilharmonie construction site on the banks of the Elbe. I find the design simply beautiful and very poetic. That's when the idea was born to create a product that pays homage to this exceptional example of architecture, while also reminding us of everyday life. PHILIPPI enthusiastically welcomed my salt and pepper shakers named ELBHARMONIE.
Each individual salt and pepper shaker evokes a modern sculpture — together on their tray, they form a surprisingly accurate miniature of the Elbphilharmonie with its undulating roof.
