A tribute to Hamburg
Designer Steve McGugan tells us about the ELBHARMONIE salt and pepper shakers: “Every time I travel from Copenhagen to Hamburg, the gateway to the world, I am fascinated by the developments at the Elbphilharmonie construction site on the banks of the Elbe. I find the design simply magnificent and very poetic. That's when the idea was born to create a product that pays tribute to this exceptional example of architecture, while also recalling everyday life. PHILIPPI enthusiastically welcomed my salt and pepper shakers, which I named ELBHARMONIE.
Each salt and pepper shaker, considered individually, evokes a modern sculpture — together on their tray, they form a miniature surprisingly close to the Elbphilharmonie with its undulating roof.
Made of stainless steel, polished and brushed.
