The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. Discoloration may occur for various reasons, such as continuous use or exposure to sun or rain. To keep it in perfect condition, it is therefore advisable to avoid exposure to these elements.

The coir fibers are fixed to the base with glue. As a result, not all fibers are held with the same intensity, and it is completely normal for some fibers to come loose at the beginning of its use.

For cleaning, proceed dry. Use a brush, do not use water, and do not machine wash.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then beaten by hand to extract the fiber. The doormats are then painted and colored by hand, one by one, using different stencils. A traditional outdoor sun-drying technique then fixes the paint to the doormat's surface. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
