Materials: coir fiber and anti-slip PVC. Its thickness and rigidity are perfect for keeping everything you don't want in your home at the door.

FISURA doormats are made from 100% natural coir fiber. This fiber is produced from coconut husks, with almost no waste.

How are our doormats made?

  • Approximately 25 coconuts are used for each doormat.
  • The husks are first submerged in coastal lagoons and then hand-beaten to extract the fibers.
  • All FISURA doormats are hand-painted and colored.
  • For drying, the doormats are exposed to sunlight. The duration varies depending on the season.

    • The anti-slip PVC base keeps the doormat stable and firmly in place, greatly reducing the risk of slipping.

    Frequently asked questions

    Do the letters lose their sharpness over time?

  • The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. Any fading is due either to wear and tear or to the conditions of the location where the doormat is placed. It must be remembered that this is an indoor doormat: to maintain its original appearance, it should not be exposed directly to sun or rain.

    • Does it shed a lot of fibers?

  • Coir fibers are attached to the base with glue. Of course, not all of them attach in exactly the same way, so it's perfectly normal for some fibers to come loose at first. To clean it, use a lightly damp brush. Do not use excessive water.
