"I don't work here" doormat
Your home is your sanctuary; protect it and keep out dirt and stress with this green doormat. Once you cross the threshold... the boss, stress, and urgent emails stay outside.
With its "I don't work here" message, this original doormat is perfect for making it clear that at home, there are no meetings, only comfy sofas and zero desire to answer calls. A subtle (or not-so-subtle) way to remind everyone that your home is for resting, not for continuing to work!
This is the perfect gift for that friend who needs to disconnect from the office or for someone who has just become self-employed and is already dreaming of ignoring the work group chat.
Product technical specifications:
Dimensions: 70 cm x 40 cm x 1.5 cm.
Materials: Coconut fiber and non-slip base.
The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. Discoloration may occur for various reasons, such as continuous use or exposure to sun or rain. To keep it in perfect condition, it is recommended to avoid exposure to these elements.
The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. As a result, not all fibers are held with the same intensity, and it is completely normal for some fibers to detach at the beginning of use.
For cleaning, use a dry method. Use a brush; do not use water or put it in a washing machine.
Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then beaten by hand to extract the fiber. The doormats are then painted and colored by hand one by one using different stencils. A traditional open-air sun-drying technique then fixes the paint to the doormat's surface. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
Frequently asked questions
Do the letters lose their sharpness over time?
- The paint on the doormats remains intact over time; discoloration is caused either by use or by the conditions of the location where it is placed. It should be kept in mind that this is an indoor doormat: it should not be exposed to sun or rain if you wish to keep it in its original condition.
Does it shed a lot of fibers?
- The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue; of course, they don't all attach in the same way, so it is completely normal for the doormat to shed a few fibers at the beginning of use.
