The coir fibers are attached to the base with glue. As a result, not all fibers are anchored in the same way, and at the beginning of use, it is perfectly normal for some fibers to come loose.

For cleaning, proceed dry. Use a brush, do not use water and do not machine wash.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first left to macerate in coastal basins, then manually beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then hand-painted and colored one by one using different stencils. A traditional outdoor sun-drying technique is then used to fix the paint to the doormat's surface. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
