The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. Discoloration can occur for various reasons, such as continuous use or exposure to sun or rain. To keep it in very good condition, it is therefore recommended to avoid exposure to these elements.

The coconut fibers are attached to the base with glue. Consequently, not all fibers are held in the same way, and at the beginning of use, it is quite normal for some fibers to come loose.

For cleaning, proceed dry. Use a brush, do not use water and do not machine wash.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. The husks are first "seasoned" in coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then manually beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then hand-painted and colored one by one using different stencils. A traditional open-air sun-drying technique then fixes the paint to the surface of the doormat. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
