The paint on the doormats remains intact over time. However, discoloration may occur for various reasons, such as continuous use or exposure to sun or rain. If you wish to keep it in perfect condition, it is therefore recommended to avoid exposing it to these elements.

The coconut fibers are attached to the base using glue. For this reason, not all fibers are attached uniformly, and it is completely normal for some fibers to come loose at the beginning of its use.

To clean, use a dry method. Use a brush; do not use water or put it in the washing machine.

Each doormat is made from the husk of approximately 25 coconuts. First, the husks are "seasoned" in the coastal lagoons where they are harvested, then they are hand-beaten to extract the fiber. The doormats are then hand-painted and colored one by one using different stencils. Afterwards, a traditional open-air sun-drying technique is used to fix the paint onto the doormat's surface. Finally, a non-slip base is added to keep the doormat firmly in place and reduce the risk of slips.
