Unexpected lifestyles hold many surprises. The story of the existence of STRØM is based on one of these chance encounters. Allow us to take you back to the memorable spring of 2017… It was during a warm and cozy birthday party in Antwerp (with exquisite hot dogs served) that Nico, Charly, Simon and Kristof started talking about a new clothing brand based on the combination of high-quality textiles and recognizable minimal icon designs. Without any relevant affinity with the clothing industry and under the constant scrutiny of the fashion police investigations, the further development of the brand/concept was far from what one might call a stroll in the (Stads)park. But eventually the snail reached the arch on the Scheldt… while bringing with it the inspiration to name the brand STRØM; a nod to Antwerp, the “Stad aan de Stroom” and Scandinavian minimalism.

Today, almost 4 years later, we can see that the chaotic start-up has transformed into a (sometimes chaotic but) flexible e-commerce scale-up with an international look, via a path paved with friendship and complementary skills. Our youthful enthusiasm makes us want new horizons. We are about to set sail for new adventures (overseas). We would be honored if you would stay on board. Thank you and… casting of the lines!
